Mookie would love to be your new best friend! She’s young, fun, and ready to find her new family. Mookie would be a great addition to just about any home, even those with dogs, cats, or kids! She is sweet, docile, affectionate, smart, and growing fast. Mookie loves to play with her toys and enjoys playing tug and fetch with people. She is doing great with leash walking and has acclimated to staying alone in a confined area for 4 hours in a confined area as well as overnight. She knows auto sit and has started mat and crate training. Mookie does have Mitral Valve Dysplasia (a congenital defect) but at this time she is considered mild and does not require medications or surgery. Her adopter will need to have her seen by a cardiologist for a recheck echocardiogram in ~6 months to check for changes and develop a plan from there regarding long-term monitoring. We promise Mookie will be worth the little bit of extra care and will repay you with endless love and snuggles!

Poor Oreo was deliberately taken by his owner and dumped in the Metro Parks. For 2 months he eluded capture and was terrified and confused. When he was finally rescued, his body was full of wounds; the worst one being his tail. It was very infected and had to be docked. Oreo is a sweet boy and is so grateful to be in a loving foster home. He has started playing with toys and his foster mom.

Meet Simon! This fun, outgoing boy would be a great addition to any home. He's an amazing dog that absolutely deserved this second chance. This puppy is amazing and would make a perfect starter dog for someone, or an easy addition to a home with existing pets. Simon is social and eager to meet people/animals, but focuses well and redirects if he’s not meant to greet them. While he does love a good chase and pounce with the cats (all in goofy, puppy fun) he is also happy to snuggle up with them.
Simon is clumsy and dopey as any leggy teenage puppy would be, and is sure to keep you laughing. He self entertains really well, doesn’t need constant monitoring. This smarty pants catches on to routines with ease and quickly absorbs anything you want to teach him. Simon has not had any issues with body handling, nail trims etc. He does get the puppy sillies sometimes, but his favorite hobby is snuggling. He’s a world class cuddler to the point that he is really bad for productivity. If you have things to do, do not sit down with him, because you’ll be trapped for hours. Now he’s ready to start his new and permanent chapter with a lucky family!
